Henry "Hank" Abromson is an Associate of Severn, O'Connor & Kresslein, P.A. Hank practices in the areas of Intellectual Property Law, Cyber Law, Corporate Law and Business Transactions and Sports and Entertainment Law.
Having both a Juris Doctor and an MBA degree, Hank combines his legal and business knowledge and experience to provide his clients with comprehensive solutions to address their legal and business needs. He has enjoyed working with numerous small and emerging businesses, helping them to develop and grow through the many stages of their business life-cycle, while protecting their interests. Hank helps his clients protect their interests through means such as corporate entity selection, federal and state trademark, copyright, and trade secret protection, and by drafting, negotiating, and reviewing relevant business and employment agreements.
Hank also works closely with artists, musicians, athletes and entertainers in an effort to protect their commercial and intellectual property interests. He has provided counsel to several artists regarding their joint-authorship and works-made-for-hire disputes. Additionally, he works with clients to protect their state-of-the-art technologies through federal copyright registration, software licensing, Terms of Use and Privacy Policy website agreements, and through representing his clients in domain name disputes. He has also worked with both professional and amateur athletes and teams as an attorney-agent and as an intern for the Milwaukee Brewers Baseball Club Legal Department. An Ironman triathlete, himself, Hank has helped several elite triathletes negotiate and secure corporate sponsorships and build their respective brand images for marketing purposes.
Hank enjoys teaching others about the areas of law in which he practices. He has spoken as an invited instructor at Maryland's Continuing Legal Education seminars and currently serves as an adjunct professor at Stevenson University, teaching Sports Law to undergraduate students.
