CONSTRUCTION LAW

Representation of general contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, owners, developers and design professionals. Services include the drafting and negotiation of design, construction and supply contracts, the preparation of procurement documents, and the prosecution and defense of construction claims including bid protests, delay and disruption claims, claims for equitable adjustments, and mechanic's liens. The firm's practice involves both public and private construction projects and includes litigation of claims before the State and Federal Courts of Maryland, the Maryland State Board of Contract Appeals, and various arbitration and mediation proceedings. With over twenty years of experience representing virtually every segment of the construction industry including owners, developers, contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, sureties, architects, engineers and other design professionals the firm has a broad understanding of the practical realities, concerns and perspectives that members of the construction industry bring to a project.
